About ShopOnLI:
Established in 2005 ShopOnLI was created to help consumers and local merchants come
together by offering Great Savings from Great Merchants across Long Island.
Our goal is to offer information about the many well known and not so well
known establishments that we are fortunate to have throughout Long Island.
As Long Islanders we never realize how fortunate we are with the selection of
shops and restaurants that are available to us, anyone that has lived on Long
Island for most of their lives remembers the Mom & Pop shops that made up
the cornerstone of their community, whether it be a corner deli, that great
tasting hamburger shop, the popular downtown Pub & Grill, a gift store, or your local bakery.
Without these hard working merchants Long Island would be like any other city
filled with franchises and Mega stores.
As we look towards the future ShopOnLI looks forward to helping local
businesses reach potential consumers by offering affordable advertising on
our websites, through e-mail offerings, affiliate advertising, discussion boards, local mailers,
and any other means available to us.
